TARDINESS:
To provide each student with the best education regular attendance at
school is required. This includes arriving to school on time. The school
bell rings at 8:10 a.m. A student is considered tardy if they arrive
after this time. When a student is tardy they should bring a note stating
the reason for their tardiness and check in with the office before going
to their classroom. If your child will be taking a hot lunch and will
be tardy, you MUST notify the office before 8:30 a.m.
as the total lunch count is called into the district office at this
time.
PREARRANGED ABSENCES:
Upon written request from parents, Principals may approve the prearranged
absences of students. Forms for prearranged absences are available in
the school office and should be filled out one week prior to the intended
absence whenever possible. All students so excused are expected to make
up work missed during the absence. Seeing that the work is completed
is the responsibility of the students. No student may be absent for
more then 5 days each year. No prearranged absences will be granted
for students who have missed or will miss more than 5 days. Also, no
prearranged absences will be granted for students with excessive tardiness.
