Where Learning is Fun and Exciting 

My name is Kelly Weber (Ms. Weber) and I teach Kindergarten at Curtis Strange.  I am so glad to be a part of the Curtis Strange family and really enjoy working with the students and staff here!  I graduated in December of 2007 from UW-Milwaukee with my Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education.  This is my first year teaching at Curtis Strange School and my second year teaching overall.  Last year after graduation, I taught K4 in Milwaukee Public Schools.  I pride myself on being very open-minded and having great relationships with my students and their families.  I believe every child is different and capable of learning.  With this in mind, please know that I am always looking out for the best interest of your child.

I was born and raised in Oak Creek, Wisconsin.  I am currently still living in Oak Creek, but looking for a home closer to Kenosha.  Before I graduated from UWM, I worked at Children’s World Childcare Center in Oak Creek.  I worked there while attending classes and during the summers.  I was mainly the school age teacher (5-12 years old), but I also had experience in all of the other classrooms from infants to the preschool program.  I also currently work at Wisconsin Athletic Club in Greenfield once a month in the Kid’s Clubhouse.  I have made great relationships with the children and there families so it is a hard job to let go!  During my free time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, hanging out with friends, and playing with my cat Isabelle. The students in Room 103 know that she is my “baby”!  I also enjoy running.  I finished my first 5K race last summer and hope to finish my first 10K race this summer!

Lastly, I have an open door policy, which means you are invited to visit us at anytime.  Please feel free to stop in or come in and volunteer, we could always use the help!  I look forward to spending the school year with each child.  I know that we will grow and learn together throughout the year.  Please stop in with any questions or suggestions.  I would be more than happy to meet with you!  Thank you and I will keep in touch!
