In technology class the second grade students

wrote about their favorite heroes.

  

My second grade read a story called Strega Nona by Tomie DePaola. We decided to make their own so I invited my second mother, Antonia Perozzi, who is almost 92 years old to help us since she is an expert at making pasta. My students had an experience of a lifetime. We then had a Valentine's Day lunchoen and invited their parents to join us. Our pasta was excelente!! As one of my students said, "I just can't stop smiling!" I'm sure this will be a wonderful school memory that we will always remember. Click here to check our movie clip.
