Who can be a member of PTO?
Everyone who has a student attending Curtis Strange
Elementary, or
is a teacher at our school, is a member of our Parent Teacher Organization.
What
is the purpose of PTO?
The purpose is to find ways to keep communication open
between the school
and our wonderful parents. We also work to find was to raise money to support
the programs here at Curtis Strange. This lets us help with field trips, incentives,
books and much more.
What
does PTO do?
Our Parent Teacher Organization is involved in many
areas of our school. The following
is a sampling of some of the areas where we need the parents support:
- Reading/ Math tutors
- Library helper
- Room Parents
- Picture Day (2)
- Book Fair
- Hearing & Vision Screening
- Popcorn Day
- Intergenerational Fair
- Open House
- Fundraiser Pick-ups
- Grandparents Day
- Year Books
- 5th Grade Graduation
- Sports Day Events
- Pizza Luncheons
- Head Checks
We would like to have as many parents as possible be involved in their child's school years. If you have any questions please call us. 653-6024
Where are the meetings held?
They are held in our auditorium at 6:00
pm.
A special Thanks to all the parents & volunteers that come in on Wednesday
